Brent Ness, Owner / Craftsman / Fine furniture

Brent grew up on a family farm in Waterville, Iowa. He has a BS in Agricultural  Education from Iowa State. Before starting his own business in 2017, Brent taught Ag Education and Industrial Tech at Edgewood Colesburg High School and was a Plant Manager for Vision Ag in Sigourney.  Brent and his wife, Jennifer have four children. 

Woodworking started as a hobby that grew to a passion. Brent honed his skills working on projects with his father, apprenticing a carpenter and then through teaching. Woodworking became an outlet for Brent's creativity and attention to detail. He specializes in furniture.

Ness Woodworking became a reality in January 2017. The woodshop is featured on the main page. Brent takes custom orders daily.

While Brent has enjoyed each of his careers, the old saying really is true...
